What Is His Storehouse?
His Storehouse Is A Ministry Of Church At The Mill That Embraces Neighbors In Need With Caring Relationships By Providing Household Care Bags Filled With Cleaning Products, Hygiene Products, Paper Products, And More. Neighbors In Need Are Those In Our Community Who Do Not Have Access To Life’s Daily Necessities. You Do Not Realize How Much Your Common Everyday Items Cost Until You Are Struggling To Make Ends Meet. Although We Meet Physical Needs, Our Desire Is To Develop Holistic Relationships Through Which We Can Minister To Our Neighbors Physically, Spiritually, And Emotionally. We Also Want To Utilize This Ministry To Bring Awareness To The Poverty Levels And The Needs Of The People In Our Own Community.

The delivery of a care bag is probably the smallest thing that God wants to do through you in a neighbor’s life. Don’t be afraid to listen to God’s spirit and react to how He leads. We believe God can use many of you to impact our neighbors’ lives in a tremendous way. God may provide an opportunity for you to minister to a neighbor by sharing the gospel with them, leading them in a bible study, or joining with them in prayer through hard times.
Would you embrace one of our neighbors? We would like to connect you with someone who receives assistance from us and ask you to deliver them a bag of household essentials once per month and pray with them upon delivery. Be intentional. Be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Not sure about embracing a neighbor in need? You can still help out! We accept donations and request specific items through our social media page, Missions at The Mill. To donate, you can drop off household items such as deodorant, laundry pods, bar soap, toothpaste, and other items as requested in the His Storehouse bin set up in the concourse, right in front of the Goodtree Cafe.
