Kids at The Mill

Our Kids at The Mill Ministry strives to build and nurture strong biblical foundations for the next generation of the church through our kids. We see this happen when we focus on gathering, growing, giving and going. Our Kids at The Mill ministry focuses on kids birth through 5th grade.

MONTHLY PARENT RESOURCES

Our Kids at The Mill Ministry intentionally invests into three different generations:

PRESCHOOL

Birth – K4
Our Preschool Ministry is for our children from infants through K4. These are key years for the development and growth of our preschoolers. We are not babysitting, but rather teaching our preschoolers about the love, Truth, and Word of Jesus in fun and creative ways.

Sunday Mornings
9:00 AM & 11:00 AM

Our Preschool Ministry is an exciting place to be each Sunday as we are laying the foundation for our little ones! The morning consists of a Bible story, activities, play time, worship and more! Drop off and pick up will be at your child’s assigned classroom.

ELEMENTARY

K5-3rd Grade

Our Elementary Ministry is for our children who are in kindergarten through 3rd grade. These kids are at an age where many of them are truly able to understand the message of the gospel and their need for a Savior. We not only teach the Bible to elementary kids, but we help them understand why it matters to their lives.

Sunday Morning Small Groups
9:00 AM

Parents drop off and pick up elementary kids in the upstairs classrooms along the elementary hall. Once we're settled, the 9 AM hour includes small group sessions (organized by grade and gender) in designated classrooms as well as a large group session in the Kids’ Theater. Parents are able to pick up their children between services, or kids are welcome to also participate in our kids' programming at 11 AM.

Sunday Morning Worship
11:00 AM

Join us for a high-energy, exciting and impactful time of games, worship, Bible study, Small Groups and more. Drop off and pick up take place in upstairs classrooms on the elementary hall.

Wednesday Night (Midweek)
6:00 PM

Elementary Midweek is an exciting night consisting of free dinner, recreation, missions and Bible study. Parents will drop off and pick up at their children's classrooms.

PRETEENS

4th-5th Grades
Our Preteen Ministry is for 4th-5th Graders! Our goal is to help preteens know, love and follow Jesus with their whole hearts in a safe, high-energy, enriching environment that bridges the gap between our Children’s Ministry and Student Ministry!

Sunday Morning Small Groups
9:00 AM

Drop off and pick up take place in classrooms on the Preteen Hall. All of our classes are broken up by grade and gender. Preteen Small Groups provide a time for age-appropriate Bible study and fellowship. Preteen programming takes place only during the 9:00 hour; we encourage kids to attend worship with their parents at the 11:00 hour.

Wednesday Night (Midweek)
6:00 PM

Over 100 preteens gather each week for their very own worship service. We kick off Midweek with free dinner. We then have a time of worship, a message, Small Groups and games. Parents may drop off preteens at the Kids' Theater beginning at 5:45 PM and pick up in the same location at 7:30 PM.

All-Access Ministry for Kids with Special Needs

We seek to partner with parents and existing ministries by equipping volunteers and discipling individuals with special needs and disabilities. We do this in an accessible and meaningful way to help them grow in their knowledge and love for God. Kids' Events

We teach the Bible regularly during our weekly programming, but we also recognize the value of teaching our kids about Jesus through special events that are a little different from our regular weekly activities. Throughout the year, we offer many different opportunities for those in our Kids at The Mill ministry to come together for fun, fellowship and biblical truth.
